Strength and stability was paramount in this project. VersiJack® telescopic supports were positioned directly onto the waterproofing membrane, adjusted to the required height, and the corners of large pavers were positioned in place. VersiJack® units provided stable support for the heavy weight pavers, allowing ready access to the waterproofing membrane and eliminating the possibility of efflorescence and algae associated with pavers embedded in sand and sand/cement screeds. This delivered a robust, long-term solution that now helps protect the Prince of Wales Hospital’s vulnerable residents.
